Yes, you don't need to hear from NBA or ESPN. It is not in a similar fashion. Rich Eisen's logic and math is horrible.
They take 1000 balls and each team gets the number of balls that equals their percentage chance of drafting first so the Pistons, Rockets and Spurs each get 140 balls, the Hornets get 125 etc. So in actuality one of the favourites won, I don't know how that is supposed to be 'rigged' – the rigging takes place during the season when teams are deliberately losing, which is shameful and should be punished, not encouraged…
