Sorry Chuck but Morey is definitely extending his man crush Harden for another 5 years.

But you’re right, that’s the end of the Sixers if they do.

Still remember Mike Missanelli absolutely hype as hell for James Harden. Had his “James Harden Day” countdown on the show, wanted the crowd to chant “Thanks for Harden!” to Ben during the nets game.

It’s a year and 2 months later and he wants him off the team lmao

    He’s entirely correct.

We are at a clear blow it up moment but we are too big of pussies to do it. Gonna waste half a decade with first round exits and probably two coaches before we finally get a tear down.

Harden quit on this team. Could I be wrong? Yes. But I don’t think I can stomach Harden on this team going forward.

Sixers will be fucked for even longer if they don’t sign him. If harden is gone, Embiid will most likely be gone too. We don’t have enough of our picks to tank, and the teams with all the great picks probably don’t want embiid right now. Get a new coach, get some bench pieces and try again. If they are worse or fail miserably, then think about blowing it up. Harden on a 3 year max at that time isn’t as hard an asset to move as this sub think imo

The only decision that matters this offseason is trading the 30 year old injury prone, playoff fraud who is going to be making 210 million over his next 4 years. You will never win anything with Dumbiid. He is a very low iq player who clogs the paint area and doesn’t make any of his teammates better. Sure he will drop 40 against dumb defenses that don’t care in the regular season but when teams game plan for him in the playoffs he becomes a shell of himself. Sell high before its too late.

Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

I don’t understand this thinking at all. I challenge these folks to sit down and rank all 30 starting PGs in the league and tell me how they’re gonna get any of the ones that outrank harden without trading embiid.

They would be doomed for a lot longer than 5 years. It’s the difference between being able to compete the next decade and possibly being able to compete in the following decade.

He’s wrong. It’ll be the end of the Sixers for the next 10 years.

Its been over. Embiid hasn’t done anything and he has played every single season with at least one other all star. Tired of this dude lying and saying he got no help. He is a fraud. Jrue got to game 7 against Boston in the 2nd round being surrounded by garbage. This squad got no heart and no hustle.

We have very little draft capital over the next 4 years. So tanking wouldn’t even be an option. We have no cap space even if we do move on from him. Why not bring him back for the next four years and keep trying? We won’t be able to do any better any time soon. Way I see it we have to run this product out for the next 4 years and can consider a hard restart after

Hes 100 percent correct. Harden cannot return here.

While Harden has been good for Maxey, it’s also possible he hinders the long term potential. Harden wants to control the offense. He wants the ball. Maxey can speed up our tempo by handling the ball more, and his playmaking is more likely to improve with reps that he won’t get with Harden running the show. Couple that with the idea that we can expect Harden to continue declining for the duration of the contract.

I’m not against bringing Harden back but we put ourselves in a position where we cannot seize any opportunity if we give him a super lucrative long term extension.

You mean the guy who did a commercial with his young self who was wearing a Suns jersey, not a Sixers?
