Thoughts on maybe going after Kuminga ?

I think Mikal Bridges is off the table with how he has been playing and we may not be able to get OG. If that is the case Kuminga might be a good young fit to the team. He has lots of potential offensively and is already a pretty good defender.

Need “blue-chip” proven players. There are enough projects on the team.

Kuminga is very interesting but he should not be a one-for-one replacement.

If you can’t succeed in that system with those guys around you, you can’t succeed. The exception being (in my view) Wiseman because they never really tried to do anything with him.

If we can’t get a categorical veteran upgrade at wing, I wouldn’t be opposed. At the very least he can replace some of Dillon’s size and physicality while not actively sabotaging the offense.

No, I think we desperately need a vet in that role. I don’t know if we could get him but someone like a Jerami Grant is a perfect fit for what I think this teams needs right now. We need to bring in a couple people for the end of our bench that are 31-34, being too young and immature is obviously effecting the team.

    Yeah for sure.

I don’t know what the Warriors would want from us though

No. We need to surround Ja with shooting and/or veteran leadership. He provides neither.

I think the big thing we’re obviously missing is a big bodied 3. If he’s available he should be evaluated.

To play basketball? No thank you, don’t need another non shooter in the rotation

If the price was right I’d take him. But we definitely do not need another young buck in that locker room. We need an Uncle Phil.

My unrealistic trade wishlist is Bruce Brown, Josh Hart, or Moses Moody or Ja for Anfernee Simons and Shaedon Sharpe.

Realistically its probably gonna a santi/tillman/jitty package for some proven vet

If the Warriors don’t pay Kuminga this off-season, it’s definitely something to look in to. Could have a vital bench role or fill in the SF position to a degree. Also very exciting player to watch with a huge ceiling in my opinion.

Nooooo. He sucks lol. I guarantee he is gonna be the next ‘so much upside’ guy til he’s 30 and suddenly out of the league.

Nahh. Not the worst guy to go after but we really need more veteran big men. Adams and Clarke injuries going to be rough for us going into the future.
