I don’t get how this affects us? Whoever ends up with the 3 pick will certainly get Scoot. Unless it’s implying that we can trade up? But I’m not sure what “win now” players we have lol

Good, means we’re guaranteed a playmaker in either scoot or Amen

I don’t buy it. Charlotte is a mentally inept franchise but no way they pass on Scoot.

Did y’all know Jabari was projected to go 1

    It’s all smoke and mirrors

ok, crazy idea, but hear me out….so, if Charlotte is even THINKING of taking Miller, it is because fit and them wanting to put a young scorer next to LaMelo. But if they are thinking Miller over Scoot, they’d have to like Green over Scoot even more, right — since Green is essentially the same age as Miller, and has already shown what his floor is in the NBA, and doesn’t have all the baggage and red flags Miller has.

So what if we could do something like Green, KJ, pick 20, and take on Hayward’s bad contract for 2?
so, keep pick 4. Get our point guard in Scoot, move KPJ to the 2 guard, and then still have pick 4 to work with.

I know people like Green, but yall, Scoot is a next level prospect. he has the basketball IQ and feel that Green just doesn’t have. He knows how to initiate the offense, but he doesn’t just stop working after he passes the ball — he passes, relocated, cuts, off ball screens. He’s a winning player in a way that most prospects just aren’t. His feel is CP3 esque, and he adds elite athleticism to that.

Losing Green would be hard, but if it is possible, you got to go for it.

Am i insane in thinking we can trade with Charlotte for #2?

I feel like we could pull it off easier than trade with Portland, as crazy as that sounds
