I’d like to see his numbers compared to other positions but wouldn’t mind snagging him with a late first or early second

To play what position? I don’t think he’s big enough to be an NBA center and his shot probably isn’t good enough to for the other positions as well.

Loved watching him at IU but it seems pretty likely his skillset won’t translate to the NBA very well.

Would love to see it

He’s a great fit next to a strech big and he’s a very smart player. I’d say he’s an upgrade over IJax right now, but is probably close to his ceiling.
Zeddo52SD
He’s a smaller, athletic PF in the NBA. Undersized, but athletic, high percentage mid-range shooter and high energy. Closest comparison is probably John Collins.

Oh God. I’m all for Trayce propaganda, but if you’re drafting him to play Center…don’t.

Those look good when you put them next to centers but he’s 6’8 ¼ so he’s not an NBA center. How athletic is he compared to the other power forwards? Well his lane agility would be second slowest of the PFs who tested over only Coleman Hawkins but the 3 quarter court looks good.
We don’t need a small ball center. We have invested in backup center enough. There’s probably a 66% chance that number 7 is a power forward so that won’t necessarily be a need either. We are probably trading at least one of those late firsts if not both. And most importantly, the only reason why people toss around TJD on here is because of the jersey he wore in college which makes it way easier to dismiss.

He isn’t a center in the NBA, so how does he stand against PF’s?
Capta1nRon
No. Just stop.
Too many homer IU fans that don’t understand how transitioning to the NBA works.

He’s 6’9″ people. 3 inches from 7′. If you think he can’t play center in the league, you’re a fucking moron and should stop watching NBA basketball. He’d be an instant upgrade in our front court behind Myles.
Friar_Ferguson
I like it. It will help put butts in the seats. He is much better than Ijax too.
