This is why Doc needed to be fired.

Tobias and Tucker standing next to eachother being guarded by Brown

Harden and Maxey being guarded by Smart

Joel being double teamed with Willaims in help at the rim

Docs offense crumbled when Boston went double bigs. This picture says it all.

  2. Ronshol

Glenn’s offense collapses on every team he’s ever coached.

  3. HoagieTwoFace

This happened at least a dozen times during this season and I would scream at the tv everytime because this is a scheme issue not a player issue

  4. Low_Indication9154

Maxey/Harris should of cut behind and helped Joel

This shit is infuriating to see

Doesn’t makes sense to stand near Hardens strong side

  5. jeppsforst

Embiid was awful in game 7 but anyone blaming him for the game 6 collapse is just insane. He was doubled and sometimes tripled out of these looks all 4th quarter and every single open 3 that was generated was bricked

  6. Rami-Al-Saham

Haha this is great now I am angry again

  7. PhillyPhan95

Am I the only person who thinks Harden should say fuck what a coach says and do what any sane player would do and run to the wing while Tatum is distracted?

I just can’t imagine a guy like Jimmy allowing the floor to be spaced like this cause his coach said so.

What’s Doc gonna do? Bench harden?

  8. 1HasNoNam3

You know why this happens? Because Joel CONSTANTLY calls for clear outs. And I guarantee Doc gave him the green light to do so.

    It’s just pathetic offense.

Our players also don’t have high Bball IQ so there’s that

  10. International-Eye837

Pj wont shoot from anywhere but the corners, and tobias is scared to launch 3s

  11. jstrong546

This is primarily on Doc, I won’t deny that. His offense breaks down too easily when challenged.

But. I hate that I’m even saying this, but Embiid needs to study Jokic’s game and improve on his passing skills. Give his defenders another aspect to worry about. Might dissuade teams from loading up on him like this.

Still, it is primarily on the coach to adjust and counter the other teams strategy. But I’d be lying if I said Embiid’s passing doesn’t need work. It might be the only flaw in his game. He can and should still be our primary scorer, but we need to move the ball way more and fluster our opponent’s defense. I say this all as a massive Embiid d*ck rider. He’s my favorite. But he needs to help the offense be more fluid by passing more and passing with more skill.

Listen Joel just needs to be able to pass out of a quintuple team it’s the playoffs

  13. DarthSmoke713

Doc is idiot, rest of team standing still having no clue what to do off ball.

  14. chuckcm89

They are a professional basketball team making millions of dollars a year each. How is this possible?

  15. allinasecond

And Joel still loves Doc? He is clueless and has no ball IQ whatsoever.

  16. jerseydang

What I’m seeing here is a static one on four

  17. NotGeorgeKaplan

Most this sub thinks Jockic can make that pass tho. SMH

  18. Bazurkmazurk

I teach my elementary students this concept on physical education class. If you stand right next to each other 1 person can defend multiple people. Weird an nba team can’t figure it out

  19. bravof1ve

The “2 guys stand inches apart from one another in the corner” thing happens way too much for it not to be a schematic issue.

Basically letting 1 Celtic cover 2 players

  20. TheKniphoon

This is also on Harden. He has been a statue off the ball his whole career and that kills us multiple times per game.

  21. ShireSkiBum

who the hell is embiid supposed to pass to in this type of lack of motion.

  22. averagebensimmons

Harden doesn’t move much off ball. Looks like a great opportunity for Harden to slide to his left for an easy 3. But Jo likes shooting over triple teams too.
