Damian Lillard tells Blazers fans ‘start the petition’ if they want him traded | NBA | UNDISPUTED



After seeing the trade talk on Twitter from fans, Damian Lillard responded. The Portland TrailBlazers star tweeted quote, “If the fans wanna trade me … start the petition and send it in” followed by the shrug emoji. Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe decide if the Blazers should trade Dame Lillard.

    The Blazers would be fools to trade that pick! Because whatever they get in return won't be a win-it-all-right player! They are best to pick and find out they got a winning player asap who can go on in a few years' time and be the next great thing! Cut the puppet strings Lillard is using on Portland!

    Skip constantly brings up Steph and Klay vs Dame and CJ… Steph and Play are better! I love Dame but put him in Steph's position and he's winning. CJ ain't Play. Hopefully Portland gets Jaylen Brown or Mikal Bridges and can actually put a team around Dame.

    as a blazers fan i want us to trade dame and start fresh. nothing but love for dame but we will not win anything with him. he has value now. we have group of young talents. chauncey seems to be a good coach for the youth. i really hope this trade will happen, it will be better for dame and it will be better for blazers.

    I think if Brandon Miller drops to 3 they should just take him. But I understand Dame doesn’t have time to waste, he isn’t getting any younger. I have no faith in the Blazers to make a good trade/build a good team but let’s hope for the best.

    No Shannon. They got to trade Lillard. There's no route getting past the top 4 teams in the West right now for Portland, even with one more all star. Trade Lillard and start the rebuild.
