Warriors have offered Bob Myers enough to be NBA’s highest-paid GM, sources say

“While it may not be enough to keep Bob Myers with the Golden State Warriors, multiple league sources believe that the contract offer extended to the team’s president of basketball operations would make him the highest-paid general manager in the NBA.”

Myers, 48, has led the Warriors’ front office since being promoted from assistant general manager in 2012. His contract expires June 30.

If he leaves, it’s one of those things where nobody deserves blame. Ownership did everything they could and Myers has a right to say he wants to have more family time.

What’s that 4/50? 11M yr is the highest atm.

  3. Good thing it’s not subject to the luxury repeater lol. Pay the man Lacob!

So he’s either promoted to president of basketball ops, with that pay raise and less handling of the day to day, or he’s gone.

Looking like Dunleavy will likely be the GM, even if Myers stays. Definitely a bit more freedom and a bit less stress for Bob, with him still being that valued voice and mediator

    MYERS IS NOT LEAVING.
    So tired of Shams(Attention whore)

This team is built on chemistry and it was lost in the preseason.

    Dray will get an extension
    Certain quality vets will arrive.
Someone will be traded after july 1st. Near season start.
Klay will take a drop in pay for extension.

    All good

Try this Joe. “Final say” over executives and operations. Nobody can override him besides ownership. Let him do his job.

This feels more like they believe he’s leaving and no offer is enough but they want fans to know it wasn’t due to them cheaping out.
