I would say nurk nas and a pick is risky but work it but we would need to hit a home run trade regarding the 3rd pick then bring in depth odd the bench
If sharpe is gonna he off our bench this year I pray we get some good veteran talent around him guys that can help keep the pressure off of him and allow him to do his thing like he did towards the end of the year

I have a different take on our situation. Why not explore the option of trading Lillard for some picks? We have 3-4 solid younger players. Keep Simons, Little, Sharpe and build around
For Dame I don't think there's any move that Portland can make where I'd feel confident they would get past the 2nd round.
It's been suggested Towns to Portland for #3 and Nurkic .(other smaller pieces)
But I think if your 3 best players are Lillard, Towns, Simons the defense isn't going to be good enough.

Is the type of team with size defensively versatility and multiple playmakers that could fit for Dame winning as the #1 guy if you can't realistically get a superstar to him in Portland.
As for Dames best interest to win.
What if Minnesota traded Towns , Conley and 2-3 future 1st for Dame? And Portland keeps #3 , Simons ,Sharpe around Towns.

As the big defensive front court with a dynamic backcourt. If Anthony Edward's maxes out as a player Top 5 in the league could carry Dame through to his declining years.
I am down but in real life how are we staying financially floating if we have Ayton at 30+ Million, Grant around 25-30 million, Dame at 55 million, and then we want to add in a Pascal like player also at the 30+ Million. We will have no bench what so ever. This is why I am much more into the idea of Bridges and Claxton package even if we have to send more picks. Those guys are on great contracts.
Nurk is a negative value, nas has little value so not sure why suns wiuld do that without the 3 pick.
Ayton has DWS ratings similar to Nurk before his injury (Bosnian Beast Days)….he would be both a defensive and offensive upgrade. Like you mention, the key to the deal is getting in at the right price.

Portland wants to come in and still DeAndre Ayton from the Phoenix Suns? The Suns are not stupid. Little, who is your trash and have no use for anymore, and your Knicks pick is not enough for DA. You led off your podcast by stating that Portland is getting nowhere with Nurkic, so then why would Phoenix want him if DA is better? Suns can just go trade with Indiana. DA is a young double, double machine that did not fit in Phoenix because of bad coaching, and now you want to steal him for your teash. Phoenix would be stupid to do your trade, my guy. Nurkic, Grant, and 3rd pick or Simmons, Nurkic, and 3rd pick. That would be fare value.
Portland would have to trade more value to Phoenix because the Suns would be trading him into the West. Like I said if you don't want Deandre then don't trade for him. DeAndre is still young and will flourish on his next team and he might flourish and Phoenix without Monty Williams
I'd rather keep DA then to take on Nurk and Little
DA for the #3 and Anfernee Simons. Then the Suns grab Brandon Miller. Then pick up someone in FA
