rj was just the second best player on a team that was competing to make the ECF. in what world would you trade a 22 year old with that kind of upside for someone that is probably not going to be that good and even if they are would take years
Pistons are still firmly in the bulk talent acquisition phase and should just make the pick. Unless they can add young talent by finding a team that is in love with someone at 5 on draft night, which seems unlikely. It's not as if they're Portland who could trade the youth of the pick for a veteran of some team tearing it down. It's a bummer all around as a Detroit Dude.

I rarely ever leave any comments on videos but the nostalgia of finding you guys again hit so hard. As a basketball fan I want to thank you guys for being an amazing part of my teens and early twenties. I don’t know why nbatv ever parted with you guys but I hope you guys find much success in your new avenue. Please continue to post podcast style YouTube videos. Some of the best such as Joe Rogan, JJ Redick, Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson, and etc… have found success in it. I believe your group can be that in your own way!
with all due respect I dont see the fit of Barrett in the pistons. Cade plays like a better version of Barrett imo. more in control, better middy and inside game, better passer, better defender
