What sucks is all the money they will spend just to get him,like I know the Fertittas are rich but don’t forget about the salary cap rule,that’s my only small issue with it

I disagree partly we had a great run with harden, our team was relevant and it was fun and exciting to have that , we didn’t ultimately get a chip but the ride was great
But I also wouldn’t give him a max deal at this point in his career n let him run this young team..i think thats dumb…it would only work if he’s willing to take a backseat to the development of the guys

I feel the same about the whole Rockets and Harden reunion. I'm so bored by Harden's step-back 3s and him having the ball for 18-19 seconds for every single freaking possession. His game is too much iso ball and easy for the defense. Not a fan of his game.

Everything the Rockets have right now, good young players, a lot of good draft picks, the most cap space in the league, and now one of the best coaches in the league, was made possible with the Harden trade, he didn't leave the Rockets high and dry. He actually made things better for the organization by wanting out, because they wouldn't have won a championship with him over the last 3 years
What Harden does well is exactly what the Rockets need, and he's the best player in free agency that has any interest in coming to Houston
What fans don't realize is that players are paid their salaries for the regular season not the playoffs and Harden always earned his high salaries in the regular season because he ALWAYS plays well in the regular season, he rarely gets hurt, plays high minutes, his teams win a lot games and he has ALWAYS gotten his team to the playoffs, which is the next step for this sorry-a$$ team
Why so many fans want to not give Harden a big contract, but give another player a big contract who's not even as good as Harden even right now at 33/34 years old and that doesn't have the proven track record of leading a team to the playoffs each year like Harden does is ridiculous…

What Harden doesn’t do well is lead. Or take accountability. He passes the buck especially when he fails. He gets coaches fired. He blows up teams and franchises and its the fans who pay for it. You pay big contracts to guys to WIN. Especially in the playoffs. Just ask Kawhi. Its not about the regular season. Its to win Chips. Harden doesn’t do that being the man and apparently not with (multiple) other superstars. He’s gonna sink that franchise even further into the abyss. I just feel bad for Houston and its fans. They deserve better.
Oh great….Bring Harden in, to teach the young guys how to be unprofessional when things don't go your way, to quit on your team in the playoffs when things don't look good, and to choke when the lights are the brightest. Yeah, let's give a 34 guy that could never lead a team to a championship, or play with other stars a max contract and take up a bunch of our cap space. If this happens, Stone should be fired, and Fertitta needs to sell the team. The team has lost on purpose for 3 years, to get young talent and draft picks, and it was all for nothing….cause they're gonna bring this loser back.
