Randle will never look like an All-Star in the playoffs. Maybe if we get a stretch 5 and cater to his style at every turn. But he is not worth accommodating he ain’t it. Idk how ppl couldn’t understand his game wouldn’t translate well on a high ceiling team. He is not good enough on ball he is not good enough offball. Only provides rebounding at an elite level in a lesser role. I have been saying this since before we even made the playoffs back in 2021.

Sign and trade for Brook Lopez; trade Fournier, Obi and a second for Gordon Hayward; sign Donte Divencenzo. Mitch and Brook Lopez can split minutes depending on matchups, Hayward gives us a ball handling shooter at the 3/4, Divencenzo gives us shooting

Let me break it down and use another sport as an example, randle is a very good player but fans can see that he puts up great numbers but there’s something about the kind of player he is that makes many believe no matter how many stats he puts up, he’s not a championship caliber player..here’s my comp, Alex Smith former QB was a 3 time pro bowler for KC, won 11 games 3 times as a starting QB led the league in QBR twice, with all that said KC decided after playoff failures they needed to turn over the reigns to at the time an unproven drafted QB that was a backup in mahomes. As we know the rest is history, getting back to my point, it’s not that randle isn’t good, he’s been all nba twice, but for people like myself for this team to get to that next level, randle will not be part of that championship squad
