That was a good day
I remember Kerr doing a long interview with KNBR (I imagine Tolbert interviewed him) around then. I fell in love with everything Coach Kerr that day.
Looking it up:
* Al Attles: 557 regular season wins, 31 playoff wins (588 total)
* Kerr: 473 regular season wings, 99 playoff wins (572 total)
Stole him from the Knicks (and prob saved his coaching career in the process)
Missed the 6 finals appearances I do believe thatβs a huge accomplishment as well!
The following day Bob took Steve to his tailor and the rest is history.
Please stay Bob!
Accomplished terrorist as well!
Only good coaching years were 14-15 and 15-16. After that had 4 hall of famers in thr starting lineup all in their prime. Not even doc rivers would find a way to lose with those guys.
Replaced the toxic Mark Jackson
Top 10, Iβd say. If game 7 choker Doc is top 10 according to NBA official, Kerr should be too. Otherwise, definitely top 15.
He is the apprentice of POP and Phil. And, he improves Don Nelson and D’Antoni styles by adding more defences.
That picture reminds me of that βofficeβ meme
Dudes aging pretty well
Damnit all I saw was the picture on my watch of Bob shaking hands with Steve and I thought he signed lol
yeah but he didn’t play kuminga in the playoffs, so he’s a bad coach /s
Was Bob on mushrooms? Those eyes are bugging.
12 years ago, Jerry West joined the Warriors. Maaaaannnnn. We were all so innocent then.
