The Draft Jaime Campaign Begins…

If we aren’t trading it or stashing it. I don’t care if it seems like a reach. There’s only one guy with the X-factor stuff to convince Kerr and tge vets he should play who can help the team tomorrow.

Jaime Jaquez Jr.

He’s this years Christian Braun or Desmond Bane… twenty something teams are gonna look around and say “what were we missing with this guy” the answer he’s 23. Teams have him in the thirties and forties based on his age. Not his game.

Best competitor in this draft. High BBIQ and elite team defender. Basketball cojones factor is off the charts. Fearless competitor. Goes right after the guy lined up on him.

Most Elite skill is… WINNING.

Without anybody noticing carried two teams to the final four one to the elite eight.

As a UCLA alum and Warrior fan, I whole-heartedly approve this message!!!!!!

Dude is just a solid basketball player. 4 year college player, could be a great “compromise” for actually using the pick. Taken a handful of upside swings these past 3 drafts, even with no pick in ‘24, going for a high floor player that can immediately contribute makes sense.

I’d prefer him a little later than 19, but hey, if they like him enough and a team like Brooklyn isn’t looking to move up 2-3 spots (they own 21 and 22), fuck it, take him. Come the late 1st, a lot of those playoff teams could be eyeing instant impact. Would suck to trade down with a team like the Pacers at 26 (or 29), just to watch the Blazers, Kings, or Grizzlies take him.

Know this class is kind of dogged on for it’s lack of upperclassmen, but it does seem like there is a nice chunk that could end up useful. Olivier-Maxence Prosper, Ben Sheppard, lot have been showing out at the combine during the 5 v 5s. Guess you probably shouldn’t give those games too much stock, but it doesn’t hurt.

Feel like Jaquez or Colby Jones would a great addition. Semi-versatile wings with good bbiq, who are kind of do-it-all glue guys… Kerr would fall in love lol

If I knew the Dubs would play him, I’d be 1000% in favor of it.

You got me hyped and that photo looks legendary. New draft criteria..,,,legendary photo material.

If they can tell a whole story in one snap, and look like a hooper then they must be a hooper.

Why even make a pick when Kerr is gonna sit him on the bench for 3 years

I’d prefer if we drafted a wing or a big since we already have alot of guards already but I’d be happy if we drafted Jaquez. I went to UCLA so I’d be pretty stoked to see another Bruin on the team. Plus he’s been playing college ball for 4 years so he’d have more experience under his belt as well.

Kind of reminds me of Draymond Green, but like not the same playstyle. Just like everywhere he goes, he wins. Like no eye popping vertical and is a four year player but is good.

If Leonard Miller is drafted before pick #19, yeah, I’m cool with this guy.

What’s the consensus on Derek Lively II?

  14. tyrusthomas11

Nah we don’t need another young player at the end of the bench.

  15. chris__cash

i played against him in high school. i hope the warriors draft him so i can say i played against a warriors player lol

He’s got length and he can shoot. I like it.

That he won the Lute Olson award does feel kind of kismet. I’m still hoping we trade the pick because we don’t need anymore rookies, although he’s a 4 year college player known for playing excellent *team* ball so he has potential to be an exception to the rule (as in my own rule that we don’t need anymore rookies 😂).
