  1. Lets not put it on the Celtics organization either.
Why did Ime Udoka put himself in that position in the first place?
Why give the organization a reason to get fired?

  2. As a celtics fans I think the late game problems especially against the heat who are a great clutch team would still be there. Last year we had the same issue with Miami as any of the games that were somewhat close ended in a loss. The only ones we won were ones that were blowouts. Game 7 looks like it was a close game but we were up by 11 with like 2 minutes to go and we almost blew the game. Udoka was a better coach as we had much better defensive structure which allowed us to have the blowouts we did. Ultimately, we need to learn how to use our size against smaller teams like the warriors and heat last year and not rely too much on 3 point shooting because these smaller teams are just better at that game because their guards are quicker and can get easier off ball shots than we can. I look at Milwaukee's adjustment in 2021 against Miami as a prime example of a team using their size properly. Even this year when Miami and Millwaukee played, it was Miami's 3 point shooting and Jimmy's ridiculous shot making that won them the series not their defense.

  3. I’m a Heat fan and I thought it was dumb to die Udoka over a consensual situationship. Boston was the one that publicized things and turned things into a National embarrassment. Granted Nia deserved better, this was not how to handle it. Coach Spo is leagues better than Mazula. Heat in 4 🔥

  4. People be acting like this dude won them a chip. They got to the finals and got whooped. He's not freaking Greg Poppavich. Also, bang your boss' wife and see how long you keeo your job for

  5. Its Jimmy B way of load management. During the regular season, he played just enough and get everyone involved and develop. And when playoff start, he is in MJ mode. K Leonard should have done the same.

  6. They made a mistake of letting ime idols go because if you look at the the games he coached ,he felt the momentum change in the game, he made good defensive adjustments in game and he can read how a game flows, and how the emotions of the players were going to keep them poised and in control. Compare it to this year the Celtics play erratic and they are falling apart. And if Ime was there right now, the Celtics would be tied 1-1 instead of 0-2

  7. Celtics fan here but yeah letting him go
Was a mistake. And Will Hardy who is doing a great job in Utah

  8. The Celtics did the same thing last year with Udoka it's not coaching at this point, The Celtics are beating themselves JT wanna be Kobe So bad.

  9. I'm not a Celtics fan. I do think they should have found a way to keep Ime Udoka. I'll guarantee you if he was a white Coach and did that he'll still have the job he may have been suspended for a year but definitely still have his job

  10. Yo you gotta go live on this Laker aftermath im laughing my ass off all the way to the bank right now.

  11. No the mistake they made was to go with an inexperienced young coach.
They should've hire a experienced one since their team has championship aspirations.
This guy is learning right now and u don't learn while trying to win a chip.
The udoka incident happened early before training camp, so they had the opportunity to hire a very accomplished head coach like frank Vogel, quin snider, Terry Stott etc..

  12. When simping goes wrong. The Celtics’ front office was so salty Ime banged a top exec’s wives, they tried to soft blackball him. With all the firings this post season, Houston is probably lucky they scooped him up first.

  13. We’re in the meetoo era. I know it came from a high, when Brooklyn tried to hire Ime Udoka and apparently Adam Silver gave Joe Tsai a “don’t do that phone call”. Adam is very conscious about how the NBA looks, which is why Ja is probably going to get a half a season minimum.

The person who should have had the balls to hire him before Houston was MJ. Is Adam really going to lecture Michael Jordan, but so much. He’s exactly what Charlotte needs. MJ is the most popular player in the league’s history. Their defense needs improvement and their offense is too disjointed, because they have lots of one on one players. Same issue Houston has, except they have some vets on Charlotte like Gordon Heyward. They have more talent than their record indicates.

  14. It's show us a fundamental difference beetween regular season and play off. With a team who the players know their roles you can be good with a basic coach. But in play off the coaching have much impact you need adjustment beetween the game and adjustment during the game. Mazzulla seems outdated.

  15. They did what they did because they racist. Whites rein over Boston favoritism is all abroad

  16. Boston blew it Ime is a great coach Houston is going to be better. Miami is out coaching Boston plain and simple

  17. A lot of us have this perception that because you're talented and athletic that you should be able to beat out anybody. This is a prime example of how the Miami Heat are hard work, and the Boston Celtics are talent and this is the saying that every player who's ever played knows, "hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard". That is what is happening in this series, anybody who wants to become a player watch the Miami Heat they work extremely hard and play extremely hard! That lets you know a lot of teams in this league don't play hard they mostly rely on talent, like that's why they are the anomaly in the NBA. Future players do not take hard work for granted…..

  18. Also wanted to add the absence of Udoka can't be understated either because he was a defensive-minded coach and you can see that is one of the major differences between them this year they don't play defense anymore

  19. Honestly we dont know the full details so its hard to say if they should have kept him but one thing is for sure…Joe Mazzula aint no where near as good a coach as Ime Udoka

  20. I remember when Chicago was dangling Butler in trade talks back in 2015. Boston wanted him but Chicago wanted both of those Nets lottery picks that Boston owned. I think Danny Ainge would have parted with 1 of them, but not both. He's not an idiot. 😂

  21. They were both consenting adulterers, but they only punished Udoka. Brett Stephens should’ve been fired instead of promoted after failing as a coach. An organization with weak leadership and inconsistent values. They’re not going to win anything.

  22. The only mistake made was the coach who let his little head do the thinking. He unzipped his pants and drop his woody out because he he chose gratification for himself.
He put himself for something to happen and as usual it happens. Was it all worth it! LOL

  23. Sometimes when you give people a second chance, they tend to feel in debt and give you the best version of themselves. They will do anything to regain your trust and love.

  24. I mean Miami heat was the 1 seed just 11 months ago due to injuries this season they dropped

  25. They reacted to the words of the #1 BLACK MEN CRITIC,Malika Andrews,& made a hasty decision,& now they'll never be the same again!!!

  26. Rather poetically, the heat’s round 2 matchup was the knicks

  27. BOSTON CELTICS…..management allowed their personal feelings to get in the way of BASKETBALL ball operations……The coach told them you pay me to Coach…Period 😂

  28. Funny enough, the media will do the same thing next season, despite us making it this far.
