Detroit Pistons Draft Lottery Disaster | Dynamite Reacts



The Detroit Pistons will once again be picking 5th in the NBA Draft. I was not happy about this to say the least. In this video I react to the news.

    Detroit vs Everybody 100%.

    I hate the feeling that the result was predestined because we are Detroit and the NBA wants a Pop Goodbye tour (just my conspiracy sour grapes right now).

    Troy is going to have to make 15 cents into a dollar a few times this off-season now.

    I know people are upset but the bright side is that this is the draft where if you’re going to drop then this is the one to drop in. This draft is deep and the players available at 5 are best prospect available and fit. Jarace Walker comes in to the league with one of the highest defensive IQs. The way he defend with his 7 foot wingspan is insane. He has offensive upside with flashes of improvement. Taylor Hendricks is a stud at 6’9. He’s very good defensively and has a catch and shoot 3 that improved throughout the year. He should be a great 3&D player that slides right in for us. Ausar, like his brother is a freak athlete with a long wingspan. He doesn’t have the handles and playmaking as his brother, but he’s really good defensively and tools to become well rounded. We could be upset or we can take a step back and see the talented players in front of us. We all seen guys drafted later outplay to drafted guys. Be patient and let’s see the prospect develop alongside the core of Cade, Ivey, and Duren.

    It sucks, but we can't act like the options at 5th are scrubs. We got Ivey last year, and a lot of solid players have been drafted 5th (Kevin Love, De'arron Fox). People gotta keep their head up and make the best of the hand we're dealt. I'll happily take Jarace Walker or Cam Whitmore. Don't forget we got some solid piece in place already, Cade, Ivey, Duren, Steward, ect. On to free agency and maybe some trades!

    Before the lottery, I was saying just stay in the top 3….don’t have to win it but just stay in top 3. Boy did that get crushed.

    I didn’t realize this but I heard this morning that the spurs have only been in the lottery 4 times and NEVER have gone down and I believe twice won it…Duncan and david Robinson. Meanwhile pistons been in it 16 times and have only gone up once…Cade Cunningham. Those are some incredible numbers.

    How its rigged when Detroit got the first overall pick two years ago versus a spurs last number one overall in 1997 it would been rigged if Detroit got two number one overall pick two times in the last three years

    Hoping Rockets get Hardin and pass on Amen Thompson. This he falls to five. Or we somehow manage to trade up. Either way crappy result for us in the lottery. First time in history team with worst record fell to five. Think about that. Crazy.

    How many number 1 overall do you need in a short span? Yes thats great yet look at the 76ers who in 5 years had two frist overall and another thrid. yes of course Victor would have truly helped yet this team has big talent yet with teh right guy they should still get as big player. Zion was as hyped as much as tis player so wish you good luck.

    Yall JUST got pick 1 and pick 5 now yall have another pick 5??? this isnt bad lol Detroit has a bunch of really great young guys I think Ivey is better than Scoot as a spurs fan yall are in good shape just need to develop your guys better.

    We have to be 5th from last in the league to get the #1 pick looks like to me that is our money zone for the draft guess we should have been fighting to win a few more games rather than loosing them all

    It’s not rigged you’re just sad. They have Tim Duncan stats ready to compare just in case. It’s their job. Also the nba HATES the spurs. They would never ever help them. Go cry in the car buddy
