Why are the heat a bad example of “8th seed what-ifs”? Simply put, Jimmy Butler

The premise behind this post, was to show the folks out there, that think an 8th seed being able to reach the heights that the Heat have, is wildly unlikely, and has nothing to do with where they ended up after the regular season.

My hopes are that watching an incredibly smart basketball mind break it down to show why Jimmy is a massive difference maker, and how our team lacks someone of that calibre.

If anyone thinks the raptors could pull off what the heat are doing then I want some of whatever they’re smoking

The issue was shot making and depth. I’m not as down on the roster as most, I was curious about what the team would look like if they didn’t run the starters into the ground regularly. Let’s see how this retool or blow up goes, I still have faith in the FO

It’s pretty funny this same Heat team was a couple shots away from losing to the bulls and being out of the playoffs entirely

I know Butler is the face of this playoff push, but it’s really the Heat’s 3pt shooting being the difference between the regular season and playoffs for them.
