The Toronto Raptors have interviewed Steve Nash to be the team’s next head coach. Reports have come out that the Portland Trailblazers are sick of the Raptors’ unrealistic trade offers. Nick Nurse and current Raptors assistant Adrian Griffin have been named as finalists for the Milwaukee Bucks coaching position. Ben Rogers breaks it all down.

I couldn’t disagree more. You always want to start high. You never go in with your lowest offer first. That would be stupid. Maybe the trade is OG + bouchier and 2 second round picks for ant / sharpe/ #3 and little or something. You can always lower your offers. But once you start low, it’s almost

Nash didn't have a disappointing run, he got canned for going 2-5 when his players weren't producing. He's a winning coach. I'm all in for Steve Nash…. Or JJ
Trade talks and back and forths are a huge part of the game. They say "no" and then prices change the closer we get to off season/free agency/draft, etc. Not ruling out a deal with Portland yet.

When someone is coming to you for your players then of course you ask/demand way more than its estimated value and if Portland needs to run to the media and complain about negotiations then your strategy is probably working.
