I actually want Wemby to be selfish a bit. After watching today game against Cholet, it’s abundantly clear that Wemby is a team player. He always looks to make the right play. However, when the game is on the line and you’re the best player, YOU are the right play. With the game tied, Wemby had the ball at the elbow. He made a nice pass to his cutting teammate who missed the game winner. Dude, you’re 7″5′ and have midrange in your bag. Just raise up and let it fly over those midgets. Nobody is going to reach your shot.
A play like this will make the haters like the Rocket fans rejoiced. For me, it’s simply an evidence that he’s a 19 yr old with plenty of growth to come, literally
