Anyone else remember when Nick spearheaded a segment clowning on Jokic because he was on the bench in the 4th quarter of the All Star Game? Or how about a couple of months ago when he said if the Thunder played the Nuggets in the first round SGA might be the best player on the court? Really balanced and fair criticisms of Jokic 🥴 Those are just 2 examples from the past 4 months. There are countless examples over the past few years.

Jokic is absolutely the best player in the world. Giannis isn't even close. He fell off the top spot significantly by losing to the 8th seed 1-4 in the first round. You can't be the best player in the world and lose to the 8th seed in the 1st round despite having a healthy team. That's just wrong.
Jokic has a great defensive quality that no one in the media mentions that is his great defensive rebounding ability and initiating a transition play with him bringing the ball up. Giannis does that also

Nick is high on Luka but hates Jokic. This year Luka actually regressed on defense and looks lazy when he doesn't have the ball in his hands. Never cuts on offense without the ball –and mainly resting on D.
Nikola is not a great defender but he's always working on defense, moving laterally to help teammates, vacuuming up defensive boards. In game 4, he had 3 blocks and a steal to go with 30 points, 14 rebounds and 13 assists. Same number of blocks as AD — and Nikola had a key block of an AD shot at the rim with the game on the line.
Jokic is a better rebounder than Luka, probably a better passer, a better defender, a better free throw shooter, and maybe a better overall shooter as well. Luka is a better dribbler.😂
I'm not anti-Luka … I just want to see some fairness in the discussion.
