Mood in the heat’s sub is “nervous? We’re not nervous? Us… nervous? Why would we be nervous?”

  2. aja_ramirez

We have a LONG way to get back into this series. But for the love of basketball, win game five at home like you should to put some pressure on the heat the rest of the way. That’s my minimum expectation at this point. At least make them sweat just a little bit.

In terms of what happened today, ducking Martin turned into Martin in the second half. The rest of the role players player like role players. And at least one Jay made winning plays.

  3. Bi_Gone_Jhin

I’m gonna be completely realistic here. I’m just happy that I got to watch this group of guys win one more game. After Game 3, the vibes were so low about the future of this team and this core. And I at least feel a bit better after seeing this performance today.

Also, fuck you, Celtics in 7

  4. whysoserious50

I’m happy they showed some fight but honestly they gotta win game 5 for me to start to believe. A team letting up up 3-0 is the most predictable thing in sports but we’re on to game 5!

  5. chrontonic

How the fuck does Tatum only get 2 FTs while Jimmy gets 12? And Grant needs to be getting 30-35 min for the rest of the series

  6. bubsiboo

Buffalo absolutely kept this game in reach when Tatum wasn’t getting much help early.

Played a lot better D across the board, if Jaylen finds his shot…

…fuck we may actually have a chance to make the most unlikely comeback in the history of sport.

  7. 1337speak

not sure why the bot is slow sorry guys

  8. Don’t throw Game 1 or 2 and it’s an even series. But that’s the playoffs.

    #1-150

  9. iAmTheRealLange

Joe: I need your help. I can’t tell you what it is. You can never ask me about it later. And we’re gonna hurt some Heat fans.

Tatum: whose car we gonna take?

  10. Smartman971

    Trae > Embiid/Harden > Jimmy

Has another team had to go through such a gauntlet of foul merchants

  11. 1337speak

I’m not going to overreact but Banner 18 is back on the fucking menu

  12. VortexCow

I love seeing Tatum Tatumming all over the place

  13. DaJorgenJag

I don’t expect us to win this. But holy fuck I can’t believe we responded like this. This team at least has a little heart.

And that all starts with Grant Williams.

In the 3rd when Miami was running, Grant got caught off ball but recovered and contested a Strus shot that normally goes in but he forced a hurry and it was a miss. From that moment I knew we were winning tonight.

But can we, for one night, shout out Joe Mazzula?

He made the right subs, the right timeouts, and had a real fire and energy. Multiple times during timeouts he MADE guys focus. He was a leader. For all his faults he’s had, he’s learning.

And thank God Tatum keeps showing that when the chips are down, he won’t go down without taking a few Achilles with him. That’s my superstar

  14. Insidestr8

Jayson Tatum: The geometrically impossible man.

  15. deltZ19

    1 down, 3 to go!

Need to see them carry this energy and mindset over to game 5.

This is not going to be an easy path but they have the talent to do it. That second half was the first time they imposed their defence and made Miami look like the regular season Heat.

    Lets fucking go boys!

  16. igonnawrecku_VGC

Look what happens when you move the ball and play defense! Who woulda thought?!?

  17. ArtistRabid

imagine getting swept in the conference finals… fuck the lakers!

  18. squidward3

I swear this team has a back against the wall kink

  19. AspiringDiplomat

Seeing Jeter and A-Rod courtside made me feel unreasonably confident. Someone fly them and Ortiz to Boston for Game 5

  20. longconsilver13

These dumb motherfuckers really let us win tonight.

    The energy has shifted.

  21. AmbitionExtension184

Before the series every NBA fan expected the Celtics to win 4 straight. Still time to do that.

It would be poetic that Arod and jeter were in attendance tonight.

  22. timeandspace11

Heat are 0-1 since Jimmy Butler said he liked Nickelback.

  23. blaird993

If we win one more game I’m about to delete like 50 comments lol

  24. rockmon94

grant should’ve never been out of the rotation Celtics in 7

  25. TheyCallMeYDG

Really testing our “back against the wall” theory on legendary difficulty now.

Actually, it’s probably better that we’re down the rest of the way because now we have **zero room to be idiots**

  26. LoBopasses

Imagine Joe Mazzulla first coach im NBA history to comeback from 0-3!

  27. kisstherings__

I just wanna say I was the first one to post Celtics in 7 and it got massively downvoted. If you did t believe in them down 0-3 then don’t do it now. That’s some fairweather shit

  28. ThanosIsDoomfist

That was the most fight ive seen from these guys all playoffs.

If JB wasnt so bad and the Heat didnt shoot like 40-50% from 3 series would look a lot different, but it is what it is.

Im thankful that these guys gave us at least one more and protected our pride a lil bit. (Was also a little nice to see some sad Heat faces at least once this series)

  29. bailey_benz

Just when I thought was out… they pull me back in. 🤌🏻

  30. One_Mall_5800

    Don’t let us get ☝️

Because then we might get 🤘

Then we might end up getting 👌

And we could somehow fuck around and end up in the finals

  31. reunite_pangea

THOSE BOZOS AROD AND DEREK JETER HAVE PERMANENTLY SHIFTED THE JUJU FOR THE SERIES. THEY HAVE INFLICTED THEIR DARK 2004 VOODOO UPON THE MIAMI HEAT. BOSTON IS 100% COMING BACK DOWN 3-0 TO WIN THE SERIES. COUNT ON IT.

  32. Wow61923

Now it’s funnier that the lakers got swept

  33. LeeRoyBrownTown

Tatum taking 3 free throws in the past two games says something about the officiating this series
