The Lakers Have HUGE Decisions Coming…

The LA Lakers, LeBron James, and Anthony Davis season is over, and they are headed for an offseason of uncertainty.

  1. GM Rob Pelinka should not make the mistake he did after the 2020 season and let his key depth guys walk. This season alone should show him that as long as the Lakers can make the play-in or at least get the 7-8 spot that they can hold on to it and be a playoff match up problem. Worse case he signs D'Lo on a multi year deal and can always trade him out. But Reeves, Rui, Lonnie Walker, DLo, Beasley and even Bamba can make it easier for AD and Lebron to coast the regular season for one more run.

  2. If they even consider bringing D'Lo back, the Lakers FO should be relieved of duty, en masse. To me, the only three they should have as a high priority are Lebron, AD, and Reaves. Everybody else can go. Bringing back Rui makes sense for $10M or so, same with Troy Brown. Beyond that, they need to be focused on good 3&D wings and a couple good backup bigs. This team doesn't need Kyrie. Certainly, the price they would pay in depth to bring him on is not remotely worth it, and Reaves and Lebron are already solid guys to run the offense through.

This is especially true, considering the FA market this year. If they commit to that core three and then focus on putting really good role players around them, this is the season to do it. They could bring in some combo of Jae Crowder, Pat Bev, Josh Richardson, Max Strus, and Seth Curry. Heck, Joe Ingles's numbers are still solid, given the minutes he plays. If they feel like spending some serious money, they could go after Jerami Grant, too.

Those are just examples of what's out their this offseason. I'm sure there are other talented guys that I'm not aware of. Considering that the Lakers already have two All-NBA players and another who could easily be an All-Star next season, they don't need more superstar talent. They need role players who can play defense and and provide value within an offensive system.

  3. Ummm, maybe there was a bigger reason for cutting Brooks from Memphis 🤔. Think about it…..young great team in need of leadership, he could be Ja’s savior in the league by being a mentor to him in his last two seasons and then get Memphis to draft Bronny to a championship caliber team for his last year.

  4. 1) LeBron is a narcissist.

    2) Narcissists have to erase their failures by shifting blame.

    3) The bigger the failure (being swept in WCF) the more they have to cover up and erase.

    4) LeGM is assuredly already working on his power play to trade AD to Dallas for Kyrie (sign and trade), an attempt to pivot back to his last successful pairing.

    5) It’s a mistake. They’ll fail. LeBron leaves, Lakers end up stuck with crazy-ass Kyrie for three more years.

    6) LeBron looks pathetic and washed up, playing on some dysfunctional team with Bronny. Neither player averages double figures.

  5. You don't take into consideration the fact that even if the Lakers let Hachimura, Austin Reeves and others walk, Kyrie will have to take a pay cut to join them. So the Mavs have more leverage than you might think.

Secondly, it might not be wise for the Lakers to trade their depth for a top heavy team again. Kyrie is a far superior shooter to Russ but concerns still remain.

  6. No video on kings off-season moves? One of the most surprising teams and no video after their amazing season. Put some respect on Sacramento!!

  7. Hole roster 😂 leaving lebron retirement ad leaves your not a Lakers your a seller

  8. Funny you didn't bring up Vanderbilt cause he was the weak link. Priority #1 for me if I'm im charge is getting a starting PF who brings two way play. Cause Vanderbilt's non-existent offense killed the Lakers after the Grizzlies series.

  9. Lakers are lucky to get those young talents at this point they need to rebuild around reaves, hachimura, and Davis. They should keep Walker even he's inconsistent he's good role player, they need to let go jarred and sign better 2 way player. Lakers should trade lebron to build around those young talents lebron contract will expire when bronny draft and I bet lebron will take cut just to play with bronny, so just trade lebron for the future of Lakers. People will say trade Davis but what's the point of that? Davis is still top 5 center in the league the problem with Davis before is he's injury but he manage to play the whole playoffs and hopefully he can stay healthy in next season. Just imagine they can sign reaves, rachimura and they can get some pieces through lebron trade, just imagine the potential of that lineup and for an long term run.

  10. We need to trade for Victor Wembanyama, he is the future! Anthony Davis is always hurt and Lebron isn’t getting younger. We could trade Mo Bamba and a future first to get him!

  11. My boy was ready for this video 😂 he knew they was gonna lose that series you gotta respect 🫡✊🏾 the preparation

  12. If the Nuggets were located anywhere except Denver (and Salt Lake City) Lebron wouldn't have been so drained. Denver has the biggest home court advantage in the NBA… 5280 feet of elevation.

I said Denver in 5 (never pictured a sweep) and called it with elevation being a big factor. Lebron never recovered and was gassed in LA too.

  13. If’s seem like the way the league work is to make sure those stupid NBA GM give what the Lakers want some and make its work somehow even thought the Lakers got nothing good to trade

For example how did Utah got involved in a three way team trade and end up getting the trash player in Russell Westbrook, everybody in the league know the Lakers need to get rid of him ASAP.

And the stupid Timberwolf GM got Mile Colony. And look what the Lakers got in return what a fucking jokes

And one more thing that back up my facts Rori hirmura sorry can’t spell his name he was the 9th pick over all in 2019 how in the hell did the Wizards trade to the Lakers of all teams for 2 seconds round picks , give me a fucking break

Adam Slicer and the NBA are rigged

  14. Lakers are who everybody thought they were.. BUMS of yeah Lebum blew the game that no one is talking about 😭
