Anyone think OTE and City Reapers is trying too hard? I guess they’re financially motivated to get the twins picked up for their league/program. Feels forced.

Yea the Thompson’s will be make or break for OTE. If they bust or are even under drafted I wouldn’t be surprised if OTE goes under

I personally hate OTE. It’s just a bunch of HS and freshmen getting paid to play AAU ball and I think the Thompson’s will be good in spite of it, not because of it

I think its cool that they can at least poke fun at him. Its not like The Ignite account would post something about Scoots height or whatever so it’s nice to see they’re at least self aware at the jokes aimed towards his shooting.

They are trying to attract more prospects to join their league for profit. Because of NIL deal, NCAA athletes can make money now. They don’t have to join other league. March Madness is a good place to showcase your skill set over playing in OTE.

I know it is irrelevant but why we got fourth pick. Shit shit shit

Can anyone explain why OTE exists when the G-League Ignite was already positioned as a skip-school alternative to NCAA? Seems like all it does is muddy the water. Seems like the G-League ought to simply be expanded a bit, given that it’s owned by the NBA and provides a more competitive environment that makes it easier to scout players.
