Jk shows sone elite defensive tools in this. His ability to challenge shots when it looks like he’s out of the play is pretty damn impressive. And it’s something pretty much no one else on the team can do like he does. He also showed pretty good footwork and his ability to not foul improved so much from the previous year and from the summer league even.
It’s weird. He literally improved in the 3 main areas Kerr would bitch about. Shooting (%37 from three), fouling on defense and shot selection. Yet he wasn’t rewarded at all.

These guys are just not getting enough minutes to develop their skills and trust with Kerr. We just have a lot of veteran guys on contracts that demand playing time. The big 3 and then Poole, Wiggins, and Looney (the little 3), all have earned minutes and their contracts show it. Now if Moody and Kuminga are ready to step up this year though we could be really good. 8 solid pieces I’m hoping that are all bought in this year.

After this loss all of our road games went downhill. We had a little loosing streak and it finally looked like it was over then it got ruined in the final seconds due to TO’s
