[ESPNStatsInfo] The Celtics are facing elimination heading into Game 5 at TD Garden. Boston is just 10-11 at home in the last 2 postseasons. Their 11 losses at home are the most over a 2-postseason span by any team in NBA history.

Under 500 at home, yet they have two ECF appearances and one Finals appearance in the past two playoffs. Wild.

    Because they are overrated af.

    Congrats Miami!

    Good luck in the finals

  3. AirJordan6124

I’m sure the Celtics are aware of this as well lol Maybe they can use this as motivation?

    Y’all buried Boston already.

We down but we ain’t dead.

C US RISE and beat the Heat.

Just to add on, Tatum averages 27/8/6 in elimination games with a 9-5 team record

  6. MasterTeacher123

Yeah they lost 2 finals games at home

Tatum will probably go off for 40 tonight. Which would mean a Celtics dub, unless Jimmy F Butler hulks out again.

But wait I thought Mazzulla is a bad coach and thats why theyre losing all these games theyre supposed to win? How were they doing this last year with Leader of Men Udoka?

  9. angelarm187

They’ve also lost like 3 home game 5 in a row

We get it, y’all want us to lose damn.

  11. Counting up losses in the playoffs always seems weird to me. Ideally, you kind of always want to have the 2nd most losses in the playoffs any year.

TBH Most of the people who can afford playoff tickets to a game at the Garden are the same people who call in noise complaints on their neighbors and would rather be on out their boats.

Curry broke Tatum and Brown mentally from the Finals, those dudes just don’t get it done 💀. East is soft af

This record is bizzare cause most teams thst bad at home never have enough games to get to 11 losses in 2 post seasons lol

  15. Statalyzer

Very weird to be under .500 at home over the course of 2 seasons and yet still win enough series to get 21+ home games over the course of 2 seasons.

It helps that they’ve won 4 games on the road while facing elimination in the past 2 seasons, which is also very unusual. LeBron James has played more playoff games than anyone and even he’s only won 4 of those in his career.

are the Celtics really gonna lose all three of their home games in a series? i hope not

im hoping we get to a game 6

  17. Waesrdtfyg0987

Tatum gets 17, Butler gets 40 and the Celtics win proving all of the experts are wrong.

Going to be quite the storyline soon when they are only 12-11 at home in the last two post seasons

Ticket for the lower balcony for game 5 in the Hawks series was $265. Beer was $16/ea. I had 3 and was cheering as loud as I could in the 4th before Trae murdered us. I’m standing and screaming mid way through the fourth for defense and I get tapped on the shoulder from someone behind me asking me to sit down…..

I’m like “TF?” Please GTF UP, it’s the playoffs. It was oddly quiet compared to previous playoff games I’ve been to.

how are we in elimination games at home?

i have a feeling the garden is going to be absolutely rocking tonight

The Gabe injury throws a major wrench into this.

I think Celtics win tonight and cover the spread.
