He’s an excellent #10 pick. I just don’t know if he’s the BEST pick we could make at #8. 3pt shooting is important and I know he’ll be a sharpshooter in the league, but we need a big bad athlete rn

Shows a lot of promise at 19 years old. I would take him over Black if Cam Whitmore or Taylor Hendricks isn’t available and hope that having two >40% 3pt shooters is a decent enough start to the rebuild. There will almost certainly be better point guards in future drafts anyway.
The Wizards have been one of the worst teams in both 3pt% and 3pt attempts for 3 consecutive seasons. We need to make a change and embrace how the game is played now.

I think Kispert and Dick would give us a good rotation of solid role players, floor spacers to build around. Then, assuming that this new Gm is serious about “making difficult decisions” and rebuilding, deal our mid 3 for assets.
