Absolutely believe this. Think KD felt he lost them Game 3 vs bucks and never gave up on that.
Is bring BB back at a long term contract. Don’t care that we would not win a championship with the core. It would be a group of guys that plays hard and cares.
A lot of the “fire Sean Marks crowd” people don’t acknowledge that he’s been hamstrung by KD’s decisions for the past 2 major player acquisition periods (trade deadline and free agency)
The team couldn’t sign vets because KD demanded a trade. Bruce Brown was let go for “unknown” reasons. The team goes into the season with an uneven roster.
The team couldn’t improve or balance its roster during the trade deadline because 7/11 wanted out. Sean Marks hasn’t been perfect but it’s been rough
Would be awesome if he won a chip with Denver and came back to Brooklyn on a four year deal. I would love to have Bridges, Cam Johnson, Claxton and a Brown all on long term deals
