It's 100% obvious they should trade Dame and rebuild w/ a huge core of young studs lead by SHAEDON SHARPE and Simons and/or Scoot Henderson and/or Brandon Miller……. Dame has been the only reason I watch basketball, would like to see him in a new situation and would love to see Portland make some noise in the next few years w/ a squad of young killas.

We understand the why but it doesn't seem listening to the "fake trade" casts the 3rd pick on its own has the value to get a better veteran player without including a young star – Sharpe, Ant which is a bad GM/Franchise decision. Take the 3rd pick. Separately package Nurk, Little probably Ant or maybe Sharpe and some picks (have to unwind Chicago pick) to add the player Dame is looking for
This is such a waste of time, just reiterates that same thing over and over agin for 30 mins
It comes down to this: you don’t tell the most loyal blazer of all time to tolerate tanking for 2 years to collect this asset just to pull the rug out from underneath him. If the pick is good you sit dame down and see if he is okay with miller or amen on the team. But the 1st choice is to do Dame loyal like he did for us for 2 years of tanking.
On top of that; if dame is done in 2 years you can get similar value for a brown and mikal then and we are in the same exact position (tanking) then
Here is the thing. If Dame wants to stay and doesn't want to keep the third pick and doesn't realize that it's best for the teams future then it comes across as selfish. Yes, Dame has been Loyal, but shouldn't that be the norm? Wow, it's so amazing he is loyal. The Blazers have also been loyal and have Paid Dame Maximum Dollars at every level. The only options I see are Dame stays and we keep pick and sharpe or trade dame to a contender. His desire for trading our future for his now is selfish. Dame isn't the best at making other players around him better.
We got to use our mle before starting these trades. Having and mle on the roster before all the pieces fall in place could be the difference
