I totally agree with Chuck, we don't highlight these smaller Market Teams with really good players. My Lakers got swept and we were a crappy team all season just because of the play in we made it in, I just don't like now Lebron has an Injury or he might retire are the topics.
He didn't take the spotlight from the Nuggets. The next day media segments would be how the sweep affects LeBron's legacy. So he avoided it by hinting about retirement😂

The NBA is always complaining that they can not get big numbers of viewers for small market teams, but the NBA ignores great stories like the Nuggets that would draw more fans than Perk claiming white players only win the MVP because they're white. Ja gets clicks for the wrong reasons, but the NBA just sees the clicks and ignores that his gun problem is actually turning off potential fans who can afford to go to games on a regular basis.
The league needs to do a better job of spotlighting more players outside of AD, Steph, and Lebron. There are so many cool stories, and so many unique routes to the NBA hardwood, the NFL started highlighting more of those stories and gained viewers as a result.
Lol that's not Bron's fault, a reporter asked him a question and he said he has a lot to think about. That's all he said. He wasn't trying to intentionally steal the Nuggets thunder or whatever 🤣 dude was just answering a reporters question in that moment which must have been frustrating moment for him having been swept in his 20th season thats why he said that. It's the media's fault they not giving the Nuggets more coverage and disrespecting them.
