I’d like to propose a new name for the Mad Ants when they move to Noblesville…
The Noblesville Wasps, named after the Marmon Wasp that won the first Indy 500. Not only does it mesh well with the Pacers brand and pay homage to our racing history, but the Wasp was allegedly originally designed in the offices of the Marmon flour mill located in Noblesville. Would have a local tie-in.
Plus, fun bonus, keeps the name and logo bug-related, which is some nice continuity.
