Just watched this. Love what Malaki brings to our team! It’s very early and he can develop more and become more potent as time goes but I love the idea of him playing a “professional 6th man” type role and tearing teams up off the bench.

Outstanding video, the guy knows his shit.
I don’t know what Mal’s ultimate ceiling is, but I think he has the potential to at least be a strong rotation player. I know he was a steal at #20 and if he is a strong, impactful role player, that’s a win. I think he could potentially be more.
I’m not really sure what his role is going to be this season. I could see him being a 7th/8th man logging 20ish minutes a game and a fixture in the second unit. I could see him starting if someone else gets ‘Manu’d’ into the 6th man role.
I want to believe Mal can reach Khris/Demar levels with his mid range and become an above average 3pt shooter. Very excited to see how he plays this season.
EDIT: another good comp might be Rip Hamilton (offensively, at least – probably more like Demar on defense, unfortunately)

I wouldn’t say “great” but he is definitely a gunner and knows how to get his shot off. Very impressive for a rook and I’m excited to see his game grow
