Funny enough, I think this and the general information about his background and upbringing leave me with more of a feeling of hope than anything else around this situation.
He’s coming back to Baltimore, the DMV, the general Midwest, and where he’s from. It would be interesting to know if his wife’s background and family are on the East coast as well. Because if you’re essentially “settling down” then you want to start anew. Set things as you see fit. Stay for 10, 15 years or more. Put down roots.
