Kenyon Martin & Gilbert Arenas went crazy on Rashad McCants for a horrible take on legendary San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich. He said coach pop isn’t a good coach.

What???? POP IS A GREAT COACH. Sorry I don’t know who he is 🤷🏽♀️Was he in the League? He has his opinion but I disagree with him.
Plus those Kawhi led teams that didn’t look that good on paper we’re giving the kd led warriors work before zaza hurt him
I hear what McCants is saying pretty Spo and/or Ty Lue no matter the roster has their squad in the playoff hunt every year!
Coach Pop Spurs on the other hand San Antonio hasn’t been winning for awhile. So probably not the most popular take from Rashard but he’s sorta valid with what he’s saying
Why does this man got a 🤴🏾 crown on his head no nba rings at all..
They called dumb jocs for a reason
Yall know he dont know anything…he is sitting up there wearing a crown 😂
Rashad McCants has always been a bit of a moron just look at his NBA career. He needs to take that crown off and put on a dunce cap on.
That crown he wearing a little too tight
I’m completely with McCants. Always felt like that about coaches. The job description is to cultivate talent. Not just get the best talent and try to win. There should never be such a think as a tanking season. That’s called a lazy coach.
How many players are projected to be HoFers was McCants question to the group. And she replied “alot of people.” Gotta disagree there but overall McCants is wrong but I see where he’s coming from.
This is so ignorant… I hope McCants trolling and he really don't believe this mess. If Pop ain't a good coach then there's never been a good coach
Even when you mention the Pistons… 4/5 of their starters made the all star game if I’m not mistaken. You need TALENT to win. If you don’t have talent then go ahead and tank. But to say coach pop is not a good coach is just ridiculous
Hes racist for sure
Not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4…. 5.
Pop is one of the greatest coaches of all time but he's not the greatest. He's never won back to back championships, especially with the amount of talent that he's had is just crazy. And this is just me but he's always been a bit of a scumbag to me from his behavior, to amount of dirty plays and players he's always endorsed as if he almost coaches and condones it. It's almost Bill Belichick like
Imma need a Newport after watching this shit imaging telling two nba players that played against the great spurs that greg wasnt a good coach this dumb ass forgot to mention when they got Leonard they went to the finals twice they was definitely top tier team with age competing against younger talent and still holding on and that wasn't just because of the players greg pushed that to victory they literally traded kawhi in 2019 its 2023 tf he supposed to do pull golden players out his ass bro ? I woulda pulled a boondock and throw a chair at his fake crown wearing ass
Pop also wants his players to get paid. Boban wanted to stay in San Antonio but Detroit came with the bag. Pop told Boban that's life changing money for Boban and his family. The Spurs weren't going to match the offer. There's other players that got paid once they showed they can play in the league because the Spurs gave them that chance. That's pretty good coaching/organization
I wanna know who his good coaches are
No hof coach or player ever won a ring without another great teammate or a group of great players around them. Red Auerbach coached a Celtics team with 8 hall of fame players in there. Phill Jackson coached two of the greatest one two punch combos of all time (Jordan- pippin and Shaq- Kobe). Even coaches like Ty Lue and Doc rivers won one ring with multiple generational players on their teams (lebron-Kyrie on the cavs and the big 3 at Boston). Pop won 5 rings with their generational players. How many coaches in the NBA has that on their resume? McCants compared Pop to Doc rivers, who is notorious for doing the least with the most talents. Not a valid comparison by McCants at all
Shit like this discredits the podcast.
Man Pop good coach but he ain’t done nothing since he had hall of famers. Won zero without Duncan . And only made playoffs like once since 2014 … Eric spo got the heat balling long after lebron .
a lot of these ex-nba players are no better then fanboys in the comment section.
You can end this right now give me good players or two teams I'm taking popovich the coach who you picking over him
Do you want a good example or good sign if popovich can coach or not look at Avery Johnson
McCants trippin'… Kawhi leaving left a HUGE gap to fill … not to mention Murray… if we go down the league there's a bunch of ex-Spurs are contributing role players for other teams …
Rashad was a hella college player at UNC but he doesn't know the game he was just a hard worker who had talent. This right here shows why he didn't play longer. Talent will get you in the door but learning your skillset and job will keep you in league. i.e. PJ Tucker, Danny Green and a few others learned how to stay in league and become valuable to contenders. He is the opposite of them
So with McCants argument/logic … that means Phil Jackson is one of worst coaches ever
😂😂😂🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️
