    Heart and soul player of the team. Robinson, Duncan, Ginobli yea. But you don't need to be a superstar to take that title. Avery Johnson was heart and soul, Elliot, Mills, and now White. We remember you brother. You were a heart and soul of the team player to me and to alot of Spurs fans. We love you man. All the best in your future career.

    Casual fans really think the Spurs did something wrong by trading him. They’re going full rebuild & White will be 28 this year, the team needs to get younger & accumulate draft picks. With that being said wish you the best DW 🙏🏼

    Dame , when I heard my favorite player got traded it hurt a bit ! Should of kept him & put him with bench if anything smh but good luck Derrick in Boston trust me I know they gonna love what u bring to that team .

    Everyone trippin bout this trade… this was the RIGHT MOVE Derrick reached his ceiling with us and plus he was getting the injury bug too. And for us to get a first round pick for him is NUTS he isn’t worth that he’s average at best… good luck D White but man I’m excited for the future Josh Richardson is a temporary fix plus Langford isn’t too bad either and he young..

    I expected Derrick White to stay a Spur for long time but now that DJ Murray is healthy and with too many guards wiyj lot of potentials Primo, & Trae Young I think the Spurs made the right decision esp Kelson Johnson must be locked up soon for $$$ he is in good hands with former Spurs asst coach Ime Udoka & playing alongside Tatum. his 2019 WC teammate & with Smart and J Brown

    Hearing the news the he was getting traded shattered me. He was such a great player but I guess things happen for a reason thank you for everything you've done for SA Derrick. Goodluck on Boston.

    I'm a Japanese Spurs fan. When I heard the derrick's trade, it was around 3 am in Japan. I couldn't sleep because of sadness. It's very painful considering that he will not be in the future Spurs. I will continue to support him. I believe he will make a leap forward in the Celtics.

    I was shocked that he got traded. I read somewhere calling Derrick the "Spursiest of the Spurs." It's sad that he has to be let go. Watched the interview after his debut in Boston. I could feel his sadness, maybe hurt about the trade. Nevertheless, he had an impressive first game. The move is going to do him good. Good luck, Derrick! Still cheering for you!
