Scoot played in a terrible league. I like his athleticism but his shot is terrible. Westbrook has passion but everyone let's Westbrook shoot and he also has been passed around the league.
Scoot game tape reminds me of Dennis smith Jr college tape.
How can you say Scoot would lead a team. Scoot played professional ball and Miller played college. Miller led college in points and also plays defense.
People said the same thing about Michael kidd Gilchrist leadership and that Michael was a gym rat that would fix his shot.

Let’s see Lamello isn’t a good defender and neither is Scoot so basically drafting a 6’2 guard that isn’t consistent shooting and can’t defend is somehow better than drafting a 6’9 player that can shoot and can defend. Miller fills a team need while Scoot creates more holes and weaknesses. The hornets went down this road before when they had Felton and drafted Augustine. If Hornets believe in Lamello they need to build around him
Im a Raptors fan, and have been interested in who y'all pick and have one comment/inquiry, draft picks arent taken in isolation you have to look at the roster to see who complements who and whats on the roster. It seems your team has several guards already plus Melo, wouldnt that be too many guards? Plus it seems you dont have enough bigs…Not a Hornets fan just asking?
idk how people can be opposed to adding elite ball-handling and penetration (heh) after watching both these Eastern Conference Finals teams fall apart when that was lacking

Scoot just upgrades the offense to a new level. Brandon Miller is good but Scoot raises the ceiling higher. Another ball handler that can also play off ball is what we’ve needed. And he wants to be a leader, we need that too
I have no concerns over Scoot fitting with Melo and Melo feeling a way about bringing in Scoot. Melo thrived when playing with his brothers, specifically Lonzo. Also Melo has never struck me as a player who would care about another great player coming in, Melo wants to win and Scoot is going to help out a lot.
The wrong twin thing is crazy…Caleb going off, 26 points in a game 7, and you could argue he’s been the most consistent player on the heat…happy for the man but it’s a little sad😂🤦♂️

Btw, hornets were 29th in three point shooting last year. If miles comes back he doesn't make this better either.
Bouknight too expensive for us to keep. Need to figure out how to get out of this situation
When did Scoot become a good shooter?
I am not sure about Scoot shooting, Miller is so much better in that department, I find Scoot reminds me so much of Rozier, but more athletic and in paper not as good as a shooter as Terry.
