Adam is joined by NBA Big Board host Rafael Barlowe to discuss the upcoming NBA Draft. The Nets currently hold the 21st and 22nd picks but could have potential options to move up the board. Rafael breaks down the value of moving up to draft Anthony Black or Nick Smith Jr.
They also discuss backcourt prospects moving towards the twenties in Jalen Hood-Schifino and Kobe Bufkin who Rafael believes has all the necessary tools to be a quality PG at the NBA level.
After highlighting Derek Lively II and GG Jackson as two players under the combine and pro day microscope, the discussion turns to Rayan Rupert. Rafael Barlowe directly discussed with the French-born prospect the different style of play he showcased, and why the all-around game is ready for the NBA.
Adam closes out the discussion on two fan requested prospects – most notably Sidy Cissoko, who Rafael Barlowe believes has first round value for the Brooklyn Nets.

Looking at the current Nets plans concerning the draft Brooklyn has a few routes: They could trade both picks for a big all star win talent, trade one asset for a ready made scorer or rebounding center or use both assets to draft players.
Given Brooklyn wants to get bigger as a team they can use one of their draft picks to get a young center with scoring potential such as Tristan Vukvcevic.
Emoni Bates who has has a dodgy past looks ready to meet his potential and could be a scoring project Brooklyn can invest in especially if they trade cam Thomas away…
Brooklyn has a lot of decisions to make this off-season and we will get a better indication of their direction at the draft….
Brooklyn needs a reliable center behind Nic Claxton. Dayron sharpe showed improved glimpses but Brooklyn could use a veteran center with more experience. Reuniting with Andre Drummond would give Brooklyn someone whose main skill is rebounding which is a current big weakness for Brooklyn. Mason Plumlee also had his best career season last year and could help with rebounding and keeping possessions alive during the game.
Ultimately using Ben Simmons as a backup center is not the way to go especially if Brooklyn wants to capitalize on his playmaking abilities.
Another big goal for Brooklyn to accomplish in the off-season…
Brooklyn should keep their eyes on the golden State warriors..
Former president dynasty king Bob Myers just stepped down and the warriors are looking at a tough financial situation concerning Draymond Green Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole.
Jordan Poole especially looks to be the odd man out given his role dropped after an excellent rookie year that led to a championship.
Brooklyn has the veteran contracts and some draft picks to pull off a deal to acquire Jordan Poole whose an explosive scorer when surrounded by the right defense which Brooklyn has…
A possible core of Mikal Bridges Cam Johnson Jordan Poole and Nic Claxton could be a more concise core to help Brooklyn rebuild and create a better structure….
Honestly I just want players who bring something different to the table or fill a role the Nets don’t have enough of. I’m just tired of the redundant player archetypes. Oh let’s get more wings that do the same thing or bigs that can’t shoot. I want shot creators or guys with the potential to be that type of players. I’m not interested in having five Cam Johnson’s and five Royce O’Neals.
Anthony Black makes the most sense. We could trade for the Magic 6th pick
