My biggest criticism was him not using the bench but to be fair, our bench sucked for 2+ seasons now.
ALERT $100 Reward:
I will give any person $100 if they can state a trade of Tobias Harris, before the season begins, that comes true and
1. Is not part of including Maxey for a big star or
2. Is not part of a sideways move* to save 5-8 M in salary in order to fit under the 2nd Tax Apron of ~79.5 M, with the re-signing of Harden.
* By sideways move, I mean take back another high price contract (over 30 M) of some one who is equal or less productive than Tobias (or maybe old)
In that case the team will probably be a little worse, but getting under or close to the 2nd Tax Apron has future value.
If this happens, it would have to be before July 1, as the matching trade drops from 125% to 110% and wouldn't save much.
I made that proposal before and got to takers.
I have been trying to teach people the CBA for the past 3 yrs, with Toibi as the prime example.
But now more than ever, Tobi is expiring, so no need to trade him.
And Morey and any coach think Tobias is Three Times better than the average Sixers fan.
In about 1/3 of games Tobi may be a top 12 PF in the NBA. If that wasn't the case he wouldn't be starting and playing over 35 mpg in the playoffs.
In about 80% of games Tobi is the top 3rd, 4th or 2nd option on the team. That means you want to keep him. You are stuck with what he makes till the end of the season.
I almost choked on my food when I heard someone think that TOR would trade Siakim for Harris.
TOR is NEVER going to make any trade to make the Sixers better. Nor is any other team, as the Sixers have no draft capital and won't trade their 2029 first unless a sure thing.
If I hear "got to get rid of that contract" one more time, my head may explode. Anyone who says that, deserves an F- in GM 101 (aka understanding the CBA).
It means not understanding what an expiring contract is. Especially for someone who is the 3rd, 4th or 2nd option on the team.
Now it may be possible that Tobi is traded during the season, if say Paul Reed proves to be able to play 30 mpg at the PF.
I see McDaniels as more of a stretch 3.
But I give more of a chance that Morey re-signs Tobi in late June 2024 to early July 2025, to a new contract for what he is worth (maybe $15 M x 3 yrs).
I hope he make Embid get down in that block.

If Doc is telling the truth (which I doubt) and there were teams looking to trade for PJ Tucker, then
TRADE PJ TUCKER
Tucker is too short (6'4") and slow and unathletic (can't jump), and a bad selective shooter, and can't defend bigs in the paint.
He doesn't below on a Nick Nurse team.
With an 11 M salary he would fit a trade with many more players than someone making 39 M.
Almost anyone would be an upgrade on Tucker if they are long and athletic.
The only reason Sixers fans will not mention Tucker, is because they think he is a TOUGH GUY.
Well Mike Scott was a Tough Guy, but was too slow and couldn't score.
PJ Tucker never earned a single one of his 75 starts.
And if he played harder in the post season, that means he wasn't trying his hardest during the regular season. He should have had to earn playing time.
When people say we need improvement at the wings, because they are too short, they are referring to PJ Tucker, not Tobias Harris, who is 4" taller, longer and jumps higher.
Nick Nurse signed with Sixers to play with Embiid and Maxey, but also the only true PG on the team, James Harden.
Do not believe the propaganda being spread by Keith Pompey.
Pompey is a tool of opposing teams, who want to spread a rumor for a particular reason.
Pompey is almost always wrong with his rumors that come from the opposition.
Pompey had Tobi traded about 5 times and he showed his ignorance each time.
Harden is returning, and it won't be for $50 M. We know that because the Max allowed to give him is $134 M x 0.35 = $46.9 M in first season.
We know he's returning because he told us after game 7. Harden said "I want to Win" and "this is only the first (full) year (with Sixers).
Why do people ignore that, but remember that Harden only said Doc Rivers was "he's Okay".
We know Harden is returning because Morey said he wants him back.
And we know that Morey said the Sixers are not going to bid against themselves, meaning he's going to have to take another discount.
And missed by everyone is that Morey said we can't bring everyone back (who they want back). Yes he could bring everyone back, unless Harden's salary made the team salary took the team over the 2nd Tax Apron.
I doubt the Rockets are going to clog up their true cap space for 4 years, with Harden. Morey will certainly offer 4 years, as always expected to be Harden's last major contract.
Hopefully there will be no player option, so that he could always be traded.
I can't believe Nurse would agree to the Sixers without an understanding that the league's leading assist guard was going to re-sign.
Maxey needs to be left free to be a scorer.
Trade Tobi for Siakam.
Just suggesting, the perfect trade for the 76ers if they move Embiid is to try to trade him for Victor Webanyama as both teams would improve and the 76ers would still be relevant and have another Embiid like player..
Nurse is a great addition but we are stupid if we thing that he fix all the issues. First of all we need players with confidence and strong mentally character and then we look what can he bring beside that to us.

Personally, I believe coach Nurse will be good for Maxey's development.

Yea it’s ok for you to be happy with Nick Nurse but your reading tooo much into that Championship that was won becuase injuries which you know damn well they lose if not for that fact…. And the Sixers don’t have a championship roster cause Daryl Morey sucks at his job
