I make the same comparison all the time. Not just Joker and Tim but the team’s whole style of play. They beat their opponents when they control the pace of the game. They play at a slow pace just like the old Spurs with Tim, Manu, Tony. Joker is slow and deliberate with all his play. If that shot clock was 36 seconds he would use every second of it to wait for the play time to shoot or pass. I love them as much as I love my Spurs back in the day.

They are "the new (Great) Spurs (rn)" 💯 Now, watch what they finna do 🏆 ..2007 was the worst Finals that I've personally witnessed. Bc there was just no chance for the opposition. This Finals may just be that kind of same. 🤷🏿♂️
Jokic is definitely the face of the NBA no matter what their marketing team says. His dad-bod represents much more of us regular ballers than the Mr Olympia body types that belongs more in the gym than on the courts.
