The neat part about handshake deals is that unless both parties involved come out and say for sure, who knows if they actually exist or not.

This seems to be a bit of media bullshit to me, basically this statement could be factually true even if Kyrie DOES have a handshake deal with Cuban to re-sign without specifics involved because of his wording

Why would anyone make a handshake deal with Kyrie in the first place? Dude can ball but everyone knows he’s not someone you can make plans around.
Whatever is going to happen will happen, spending any time as a fan speculating on Kyrie is going to be futile.
