    I believe so

We’re looking more solid than most if not all teams

  2. No_Song_5840

Yeah, I think this will be a dynasty.

Just look at the personalities at play here. Jokic and Murray are exactly the sort of guys to thrive in this setting. Murray clearly steps up in pressure and lives for the post season, and Jokic is similar to Tim Duncan in that he is unaffected by everything around him while staying focused. With those guys as the core, and Malone as the long-time coach of them, I can see this as being a real dynasty.

We have a chance but everything has to go right. Need to make the right off season moves and hope for no injuries. Plus the other teams in the west and east are gonna improve. Sac will be a contender. Phoenix will get better. The east will have the same teams hanging around.

  4. Photoverge

    Kellerman said Spurs 2.0. That’s 5 chips.

  5. BlueDwarven

I mean, if they win the championship why not? I think all 5 starters are under contract through the end of next season. They’ll lose Bruce Brown to FA and need to replace him, and Jeff Green isn’t getting any younger. So they’ll need to retool their bench a bit this offseason, but I don’t see any reason why they can’t run it back next season if they win.

  6. Shenanigans80h

I ain’t talking dynasty til we win this one. That said, this core is built to last and there’s no one, as of now at least, that actually scares me. If we’re healthy, we’re contenders for the foreseeable future

  7. Kombuja

I don’t like all of this sudden media confidence… I’m not used to it and I don’t know how to handle it. Now i’m scared. Whereas a week ago I was super confident.

  8. thetwigman21

Please for the love of god just let us get this first one

  9. SkinnedAphid

If Braun and Watson can contribute effectively off the bench next season I don’t see why not. It’ll be tough to replace Bruce but our starting lineup is set again for next season. We might not have KD or Bron but pundits need to recognize our starting lineup is the best of the league on any given night.

God the media is the fucking worst. We haven’t even played a game in the finals and their talking dynasty. I wish everyone would just ignore this BS

  11. gallapagos42

Pretty large jump to make considering we haven’t even played game 1 yet…but man what a time to follow Denver sports. Avs and Nuggs on a concurrent ascension is beautiful. National media can stay behind for all I care, they can get fucked

  12. who_likes_chicken

Honestly, when the entire basketball world watched us sweep the Lakers I think it woke them up, somewhat violently, to the reality of the next few years.

    1. Joker’s game style has no expiration date as long as he continues his workout and training routine.
    2. Our starting core contracts are all coming back next year, most of it still comes back two years from now, and our core trio is locked in for three years. (Going off memory, sorry if my contract summary ends up being inaccurate.)
    3. There’s no answer in the league for the Joker/Jamal game. Not only that, but it doesn’t look like anyone has yet landed on the same continent that an answer to these two exists.

The Nuggets have set the table to be *the problem for the rest of the NBA* for the next five years. I think people have taken stock and are realizing what’s in front of them.

  13. Autistic_Puppy

Nuggets would need to add another star to reliably win championships. Nuggets would arguably be underdogs to win a championship if the Bucks and Celtics didn’t crap out of the playoffs

  14. LeCrushinator

If the Nuggets win this year, keep most of our their players, and keep playing as a team, then they’re definitely dynasty-caliber.

  15. notarealpanda

My biggest fear is Jokic retiring after he wins it that man will absolutely not play until he’s old

  16. El-_-Jay

Let’s win this one first. Nugglyfe could still end us

  17. Bronco4life21

I think Milwaukee is going to come out hard next season. Let’s just get this one first though

  18. srberikanac

Honestly, I am afraid of the Suns being an equal match once they get a better coach and have some more time to form a cohesion among their stars.

  19. internallylinked

I get it that Nuggets fans will enjoy the attention media gives them rn, but this is still fucked up. Like they are overcorrecting, there’s no need to talk about dynasty before Finals started. Nuggets are not Grizzlies.

Why can’t national media just talk about basketball rather than 24/7 legacy talks?

Just talk about how amazing Jokic is, the journey of MPJ, Jamal back from injuries, AG, BB, KCP finding their perfect roles on this team, Calvin and Tim, Malone and his coaching staff, anything. Just not legacy legacy legacy

  20. North-Environment133

I’m always terrified to talk about nuggets winning out loud because I’m worried I’ll jinx it, but yea that’s more like it.

  21. BeastWars98

Nuggets can win at least 3 titles before Jokic hangs them up…

  22. Baileyandco

Heard we might be the next Warriors a couple years ago before we even got AG, and now definitely seeing it
