It’s not all bad. Toppin does have good upside. He’s got a high defensive motor and plenty of offensive value in transition. This is a solid young player. He just doesn’t have Kuminga’s potential. That’s why the Warriors are landing an unprotected pick and a swap here as well.

Whether it was the preseason punch, a zillion early-season palming violations, the league figuring him out or general dissatisfaction with his role, Jordan Poole played like a guy who had a foot out the door all season. His failure to fill a critical playoff niche as the Golden State Warriors’ main shot-creator behind Stephen Curry sealed the deal. The Warriors need depth, someone who’ll play within their system and financial relief and the best way to get some of those things is to trade Poole, who’ll probably be better off running his own show without a teammate that tried to knock him out.

    Divencenzo has a player option if he opts out he is going to get multiple offers, and more than the Warriors could give him so the Warriors really don't need to trade Kuminga just give Kuminga Divencenzo's minutes and role off the bench.

    Hi Chase I think kuminga is definitely better off only because I would not trust Kerr I mean can you imagine what this did to this confidence and he by far wasn't able to show his talent because he played one day and didn't get to play for three or four days my personal opinion is he is going to show all the people who say he has not done to much how wrong they were

    Terrible trade proposals. Poole nor Kuminga should be traded, especially not Kuminga. Draymond and or Klay should be moved, Draymond being the most expendable. His declining play and lack of self-control make him more of a liability than an asset.

    These trades don't make sense, they're trading for similar players. What's the point. The Warriors need to solidify their frontcourt. Poole is a valuable asset for the Warriors, he needs to be the starter where he thrived.
