Not to be a hater or anything but it’s kinda silly to site Johnson and Griffin. We haven’t seen enough of them to point to them when declaring a strong draft record.
Had a role in drafting Trae Young is another way of saying he drafted Luka Doncic and then traded him for Trae Young and Cam Reddish
What about other players? Surely he has been involved in drafting some busts as well. Cherry-picking the more successful picks probably doesn’t tell us a whole lot.
And, as others have mentioned, trading Luka for Trae Young was not a smart move.
