  1. Clan the Spur fan about we get in next year NBA draft Zach Edey. I really like Zach Edey and I think he would be a perfect fit next to Victor Wembanyama when the Spurs go to a tall lineup.

  2. Reaves wont even get all his money, California state taxes will take a good cut😂

  3. The maximum deal L.A. could put forth for Reaves is a four-year, $50.1 million offer, which NBA insider Marc Stein indicates may not be enough to keep him away from other interested parties

  4. I do love Zach Collins as well. He's a very nice player, showed why he was a lottery pick after Jakob got traded. He's tough and our enforcer

Guarantee anytime someone messes with Wemby next year, hes gonna be right in their face

  5. I would agree with the Spurs snagging Austin if he chooses to leave the money he's worth on the table. Otherwise, I like the Spurs keeping their options open.

  6. Yeah, I say no way. I think getting another pick in the first round should be the focus. I think it’s too much money, and I don’t think he’d be down for it. I don’t think he’s a bad player. I just agree that it’s not worth the money.

  7. To screw with the Lakers?Maybe. But to kill the growth of Malaki and Blake Wesley?Hell no.

  8. Well, the Spurs have to go over the salary floor this year. Under the new CBA rules, teams under the floor don't get the luxury tax payments from those teams in the tax. No way do the Spurs ownership give that up. They're going to spend money.

Given that, Austin Reaves would be a very good choice to give it to. His stats might not be as impressive, but the Spurs need more ball handling, shooting, and defense, and Reaves provides all 3, with intelligent play and competitiveness to boot. Especially if the Spurs trade back into the first round for a player that isn't a guard (Bilal Coulibaly or Dariq Whitehead come to mind).

  9. The Spurs have a roster full of young players so there is going to be some difficult decisions. Reeves would definitely bump one of our young guards off the team.

  10. There’s always room for a smart player like Reaves, but if the Lakers are willing to pay up to $100M, they can have him. Spurs should offer $90M just to force the Lakers to pay the full price.

  11. No, f no, no no no no keep jones. Even 80 mil, no. Go compare stats between him and tre Jones.

  12. With the new CBA rules coming this season, I don’t see this happening. I see us getting a FA Big after the draft.

  13. I like Austin Reeves, but this is kind of like trying to buy a stock after it has broken out for its all time high. The news is out on him, he is good, it’s too late to get him for cheap ever again. The Spurs need to be mentally and financially prepared for next summer which is supposed to be a very deep free agent off-season, we’re going to feel pretty dumb if we overpay for a few good players now and suddenly can’t afford a great one when the opportunity presents itself.

  14. Pop will unleash Wesley this coming season. That kid got injured and never had the chance to fully show us what he can do. We will spend that money in house. We do not contend yet on year 1 and 2 of Wemby so patience is the better route.

  15. I think we should try to go for two years 50 mil and if the Lakers match, he’d be an unrestricted free agent that we can get then

  16. Does seem like a good idea for any one involved…. On the spurs side specifically why bring in a soon to be 26yo to play the position you already have Devin and Mal playing??? And you’re going to have to overpay to make the lakers pass? And this is right as you being in Wemby instead of getting a young PG to pair with him? If that’s what spurs wanted they could have just kept Derrick White.

  17. Spurs oughta lowball him at 60mil over 4 years – it’s time for people to take the “Wemby Discount” – their chance to play with a GOAT

  18. I really hope we don’t go after Reaves. He is good but he is gonna get overpaid hopefully not by us.

  19. I think our PATFO sees a lot of "Spursy" characteristics in A Reeves. Really like his overall offensive skills. I was impressed what Reeves did in the playoffs, and I'm sure the "best is yet to come". Anyway, I think it's a very interesting possibility. Let's see what happens. Go Spurs!!

  20. Ppl thought the same thing about james harden, he flourished at Houston after given a bigger role, reaves needs to be put in a position where its his team. Lebron an Ad hoggin the limelight in LA

  21. WHOA NO WAY!!! He's NOT worth that much! We have 32 picks from here till 2029! Make some Ginobili type moves out there on the market or draft!

  22. Austin, who’s from Arkansas, would definitely fit in with the San Antonio/Texan vibes and he definitely has a Spurs-attitude when it comes to his demeanor. He’s already showing signs of his potential, explosive offensive capabilities. PLUS, he’s slowly, but surely improving defensively. I hope San Antonio can acquire him, but also hope his high price won’t be too costly for the team to be able to get more talent in the roster

  23. SA should offer him big just so the Lakers have to match it to keep him.

  24. Do I think Reaves would be game changer for us and somebody we can build around? Nope.
Do I think we could piss of the Lakers REAL BAD if we offer him big money? Oh yes.

  25. I think Spurs either try and trade up for scoot in a 3 way trade (which I think it’s unlikely) but realistically i think they go for Anthony black if he falls

  26. Not at that price. It's like walking into a Mexican food restaurant and looking at the prices. What?? A taco for $10. Beans for $10. Rice for $10. Forget it. I can go walking down the street in San Antonio and get a similar plate for $4.95 that will include everything. If he wants to stay in LA, then let him. I'll tell you once AD and LJ leave, so will the Hollywood stars and it'll be like playing in pick up game for him. The real action will be in SA.

  27. Na we don't need him… he's upcoming and not that good but wants top dollar idk he's ok but I feel like the nba hyped him up alot because he is a non color guy
