I created version 2.0 of my AI Basketball Referee. I trained a custom machine-learning model with over 3000 images. The system can accurately detect travels and double dribbles.

I think the robot AI ref revolution is still a long ways off even though we probably have the tech for it.
Sports care far more about flow and entertainment than getting it right. Just not gonna happen or be considered until theres a gigantic scandal

Cool, it doesn’t need to do everything, even using it just for travels, goaltending, etc would let refs focus on things that are harder to detect. Heck you can use it to grade refs.
