Why can’t Wiggins play at the SG spot for us??

I’m pondering life without Dray or Klay whether its this offseason or next and the many holes it would cause this team. One way to stop the internal bleeding would be considering a backcourt of Curry and Wiggins. The guy was a two guard most of his years in Minnesota. I think in our system the two spot get a bit more freedom on offense. While Wiggins doesn’t have the best handle he does a decent job creating his own shot especially in a half court setting.

Most of you would ask who will play the three, I think this is where the organization will have to commit to either Kuminga or Moody for that role. I think it would all fit if we can get a solid stretch 4 via trade (hopefully PBJ takes another step) to play with these guys and hopefully Looney is a mainstay at the 5 spot. I think that team gets to the playoffs, now if any if these young guys take a leap we could be contenders again if Curry is still in his late prime years.

im sorry but this team is fucking cooked if our 3 and 4 are kuminga and PBJ

I don’t really think about it that way. Warriors play position-less basketball with more of a best 5 available at any time. So sure, wigs can be 4 tonight and 1 tomorrow.

Because people are stubborn and unimaginative and refuse to think in unconventional ways… just like those guys who kept picking the Warriors to win despite the season we had done it before. Just like folks picking the Lakers cuz LeBron lol. Everyone just wants to be correct and it makes for comments like “if Kuminga and PBJ play we’re cooked”.

We’re cooked if thr old guys become old guys too. We’re cooked if a talented league get better as we get worse. But… to some folks anything other than an finals appearance is cooked… it might be that Poole Kuminga Moody and PBJ decide “if we’re cooked”. If the kids dont improve maybe we’re cooked there too. That’s a real possibility.

He kinda does a lot of the time when he guards the guard and Klay guards the forward. He’s a great versatile complement to Klay, one of the reasons why the Curry/Klay/Wiggins/Draymond/Looney lineup has been so completely dominant for the last two seasons. Imo, I do not understand why the Warriors would do anything other than try to add depth to surround such an elite lineup, since that is the formula that won them a championship a year ago.

Also Kuminga is not a 3.

Wiggins usually guards the best perimeter player so he kinda does

I would use Poole to get that stretch big. I think many of you need to understand that the older Curry gets he will need a roster full of athletes. Having Wiggins in the backcourt to cover for Curry would be ideal and then to have another potential two way guy in Kuminga would make our perimeter defense elite.

he needs to be featured more and be allowed to get more shots up than guys like Poole who are inefficient asf
