  1. Honestly I’m from Detroit and we didn’t expect them to beat LA….We couldn’t believe we even made it to the championship game. It was just a magical year for the city and Detroit Pistons.

  2. I LOVE THE DETROIT TEAM 2004 it’s my all time favorite team love their style of ball I would love to coach a team now that style
And see if I could win against todays style. I like my chances

  3. BS, the very first super team was the the original Boston teams which won 11 rings and almost won 12 titles.

  4. Gary Payton still won with Shaq & D Wade in Miami. And Alonzo Mourning won one. Gary Payton and Karl Malone was too old by then. Gary Payton didn't contribute much when he won in Miami. It was like Charles Barkley joining the Rockets, he was too old to help Hakeem Olajuwon win a 3rd so the Rockets lost.

  5. Ben is my guy!!! But that LA team was no super team… Old Malone, older Payton. Super teams to me is exactly what Bron did in Miami, 3 top players coming together in their primes.

  6. Look I love that Pistons team and I'm never will take away what they did to win that chip but and in all reality comparing that super team of the Lakers with an old ass Karl Malone and Gary Payton to and in their prime Golden State warriors with KD and LeBron with the heat and even the cavaliers like bro that's not anywhere close to being the same thing nothing but respect for Big bend but why Karl Malone and Gary Payton were not in their prime anymore

  7. Both times in history the Pistons were the best defensive they won championships! The Bad boys and Go to Work Pistons! We know the recipe in this town.

  8. Yeah Ben tripping with no luggage if he classified that as a super team.., Malone was in his 19th season and Payton was older also., mfuckers say anything just to make what they did more than what it was.., the Piston played great basketball to win he don’t have to sell to those of us that saw it and know what it was💯💯

  9. Man that old team at the end of their careers except Kobe and shaq😂 Ben tried it lol

  10. Truth be told Boston and LA was not super teams those guys was old asl they both was a team a vets them Miami guys was still young

  11. He's right with LeBron only took the heat just cuz he's LeBron… And so many people are followers

  12. This Detroit team is the most underrated team of all time. I been bring them up for years. Everyone talks about big 3’s the Pistons had a big 5.

  13. If Ben don’t shut up.Those players where not in their prime. If GP and Malone were in their twenties then I could feel you but nah Bruh.

  14. 🧢 he know damn well if those certain guys weren't hurt there was no way they was going to win Big Ben I love you my guy but you know y'all didn't stand a chance if mailman didn't get hurt and that wasn't a super team because most of those guys was over the hill…..

  15. Pistons players were BETTER than that Lakers team overall. Just the starting 5. WTF is Ben talking bout. Billups and RIP are STARS and then prince was a young tall ass SF who was nice ASF. And then Ben Wallace was if not is the BEST DEFENSIVE PLAYER EVER. And then Rasheed Wallace was a fucking animal. That's 4 All-stars and a young beast. Karl Malone and GP were wasted the fuck up and old ASF that they were just there to intimate you really. That was NOWHERE NEAR A SUPERTEAM. 😂😂😂😂

  16. i was born and rasied in Michigan and seeing that team come together was amazing yeah the starting 5 was key to our championship but our bench was really good as well within a couple years of that 04 win a few of the players on the pistons bench were starters elsewhere. like memo okur mike james etc elden Campbell was in the twilight of his career but we needed someone on our bench that we could put up against shaq. shaq was getting double teamed everywhere and my favorite player ben wallace didnt shut down shaq if you look at the numbers but ben waa guarding shaq by himself mainly. pistons let shaq be shaq and shut down everybody else. tayshaun prince played great defense throughout the playoffs including a monumental block against Reggie miller that saved us cuz without the block the pistons get lnocked out of playoffs. kobe had issues that finals but tayshaun was taller then kobe at 6'9" then you add the wingspan which was 7'1" and that made him pretty hard to shoot over.. in my opinion no team in recent history played team basketball better then those pistons.
