I get why they fired Casey but something had to be up for firing Nick I myself don’t think they can find a better coach than him out there
I dont mind it taking long. Our next coach will define the next wra of raptors ball pretty much.
I am cool with the search taking this long. Bottom line, do it right. Get a coach that can develop, coach elite players without favoritism and play to win in the playoffs. We will have a coach before the draft so I ain't worried!
The coach has plenty of time to evaluate and choose his staff. The order is simple Coach, Draft, Trade, Summer League, Pre-season Camp, Pre-season games. It all can happen without stress.
The only person that is fit for this job is well are 1Steve Nash, 2 Jason Kidd and if wanted the job Dwayne Wade!!!
I don't mind the long search at all. Finding a coach you cant rush just to fire him a hear or two later because they dont like what they see.

It could be the NBA Finals that's holding up the decision cuz they also interviewed both team's assistant coaches.
