Another underlying issue for Charlotte FO is whoever they pick will determine how they view lamelo as a player.
Now, idk how lamelo and Scoot will fit together, but if they were to pick Scoot then i think that shows Charlotte isn't certain lamelo can be their guy to lead them to a championship and if they pick Miller then that says they do believe lamelo is their guy to lead them to a championship.
Personally, they should just draft the best talent available because of thei history of bad scouting and decisions making. And imo lamelo hasn't proven yet that he deserves the keys of the franchise and to be the guy built around. He's getting there but he's not there yet and Charlotte shouldn't waste any valuable assets on him yet.

This is Melo's team, Miller will be the pick. Miles will be back this season and the hornets already have a small guard in Rozier so Scoot makes no sense. If the Blazers want him maybe trade back to 3 and pick up future picks or unload maybe Haywards contract.
