I’d rather go for J. Allen or OG. If the 10th pick, Green, and THJ are gone, I need a clear cut top 50-75 player in the league coming back in return. Capela is declining. Hunter’s contract is pretty bad too honestly.

Leaving aside my Josh Green fan club membership, is De’Andre Hunter actually good? He seems like a 3&D wing who isn’t that good at 3s & D.
I’d think about it if it was just THJ and 10 for Capella and 15. Hunter just does nothing for me, especially at his salary for four years.

Capela might be worth the 10th and a trade down but Hunter is not worth Josh, Green and Tim.
Hunter is always injured, his defense is meh and he is just an average shooter.
Green might even put up the same stats as Hunter did in a year or two.

I’d like to see Reggie as the centerpiece in a Richaun Holmes or Obi Toppin trade (would need more ammo to get Obi, but makes sense that Thibs would want Reggie back).
I’d keep THJ and 10 as ammo for Jarrett Allen, then Capella if that backfires. I think we could draft someone that could fill the Deandre Hunter role without sacrificing Green.

2 20 mil a year players whose hype isnt up there. Hunter on a paper is amazing but actual play is meh. Capela could play the role but pay out 40 mil a year and losing a pick theres better options.

There is zero incentive to make this trade this big. Capella for THJ works straight up, if ATL won’t bite I look elsewhere, IMHO there is almost no situation where giving up the 10 without getting a mid and late first back is worth it. Taking on Hunter would be a really poor move in terms of cap management.

15 to 10 is obviously solid for atlanta. it’s not as big as going like 15 to even 7 or 8.
Capela is by far the best player here, so we’re getting back someone better – but, more expensive. THJ will be helpful cap relief.
Lastly, you’re swapping hunter for green. hunter’s probably better but green is a “re-do” on the contract they gave hunter. Again, their cap is screwed.
Bertans is an expiring basically, which will help atlanta’s again loaded books.
