    We need a great playmaking PG like lamelo. Seeing those flashy passes in the garden would be nice

    I think the best case is prolly to trade brogdon, payton, and other depth pieces. Smart needs to stay as he is the longest tenured and most experienced C. As well as the Leader. you cant trade him and especailly not for Fred Vanvleet. We are talking about defense first, then you start with smart.

    Gallinari will come back
    adding Doug Mcdermott and Naz Reid is the best case.

    Depending on how Free agency and trades shake up we will see where Grant goes. best case is we keep him on a solid salary.

    so next season the team could look like:

    Smart
    White
    Brown
    Tatum
    Rob

    Grant
    Hauser
    Doug
    Reid
    Gallinari

    Our size would increase but the Point guard depth would decrease. may need to add a veteran PG in free agency or Via Trade if Pritchard is moved in the summer. Shooting also wouldnt be a problem as 7/10 of those players are good to great shooters.

    I don't know how it would work contractually, but flipping JB for Myles Turner and Tyrese Haliburton, and adding Jerami Grant could be great moves. (I haven't look at any of the money just as a preface 😂)

    The NBA sucks because if we offer Jaylen Brown the Supermax and then next year we all for Jason Tatom Supermax we get punished

    Brook would be the only piece we need Trade Payton Danilo is like a free agent addition and give jd and them Maine boys some shine grow from within . Hauser should have been playing he's the best shooter on the team

    He’s an idiot, Trading Marcus Smart, you out of your damn mind lol if anybody gets traded it’s going to be Brogdon he was somewhat healthy this season but you know you can’t rely on him healthwise when it comes to these two guys he’s making more money that we can use in the trade who I would want is Terry Rozier

    Why not offer JB an extension below the max? E.g. 5 years for $250M is still more than anyone else can pay him next year. If he needs to be overpaid to stay with Boston, should you question his desire to play there?

    I know there are a lot who think the C’s have to trade one of MS, DW, or MB. I don’t agree. I especially am not in favor of getting rid of one of them to then sign FVV.
